Batteries Not Required

A couple of weeks ago I received the following email from Phil with the Johns Hopkins Engineering Department:

Readers of your blog might enjoy watching a short online video we just shot about an unusual competition for freshman engineering students here. They had to think “low tech” to design and race cars powered only by rubber bands and mousetraps.  Though the concept of the video focuses on mechanical engineering, it is an introductory course for all engineering students.
